Weekend Project DIY

For the past two days of my weekends, I'm in Ipoh. Helping my mom and sis to prepare part of "hantaran(s)" for my engagement on this 19th March (Saturday). Well, I'm actually doesn't want to burden my mom and sis to help me doing it. But, they insisted to do it for me. Hehhehe. (actually I can cut-off my budget)


I'm quite choosy and particular when it come to choose the appropriate colour for the flower and fabrics. Therefore, I have chosen  purple, pink, blue and white as the colour for the flower and turquoise blue for the fabrics. Well, it looks like i'm soo girlish aite??? Hehhhehe.. Nope..I just like the combination of all the colour. As for my hantaran, its totally DIY. The combination of my ideas and magical touch of my mom & sis.  After two days of hard work, we manage to finished all 9 "hantaran".

It is actually quite early for me to reveal how my hantaran looks like. But I can give u all a sneak-peak of it. The full and final version of my hantaran would be reveal in this blog latest by Sunday. So, stay with me folks!

Our "Kursus Perkahwinan"

Last week we have attended our "Kursus Perkahwinan" at Mahligai Firdaus, Setiawangsa. Well, it really hard especially for me to get up early during weekends but "kahwin punya pasal" , excited! 

The wedding course have cost us only RM80/per person. I quite cheap and actually a standard rate throughout Malaysia. The course have 6 sessions and being well-conducted by professional Ustaz and Ustazah from JAWI. I thought this course would be a formal but it end-up to become funny and semi-"lucah" session. We have fun there  and did not fell sleepy at all (maybe because the semi-lucah session kot??!! hahha).

As a conclusion, we had a great weekends together at the course! Can't wait for OCT to come! Weeee

Review: Engagement & Wedding Photographer

A few weeks back, both of us have attended Wedding Expo at Ampang Point. Our target is to search for wedding invitation cards and both engagement and wedding photographer. When we arrived there, our search expedition started. We drop by at a few wedding card booth and do some inquiry regarding the package that they have & the most important this is "the price". Unfortunately, no design catches our attention. 

As for the photographer, I already have "target" in mind. Therefore, we straight away go to "the Photolicious" booth. We have been greeted by the principle photographer cum the founder; Kak Kay. She was very friendly and nice to us. She have explained the packages that they have. Their packages was quite expensive but it really worth our penny. Their workmanship to me was very superb and near to perfecto! You can view some of their masterpiece at their official website: http://www.thephotolicious.com/.

After that, we quickly placed our booking. Unfortunately, they are only available on our wedding date but not our engagement. It quite sad but, its ok. At least we manage to have them on our Wedding Day. We quickly paid our booking fees and yeay! We have PHOTOLICIOUS for our wedding reception this coming Oct.

p/s: On our back, Kak Kay have called and tell us "good news"!!! Someone have cancelled their booking March 19. Therefore, the slot is empty. That means we also gonna have PHOTOLICIOUS on our engagement date. Thank god and it really cure our headache. Yeayyyyyyy!!!!!

The Birth: Our Wedding Blog

This is our first post in this blog and yeay! we're getting married! After 5 years of blessed relationship we finally decided to end up our "bachelorship". This is a tough decision but both we are ready mentally and psychically. Our D-Day will be starting up with our engagement ceremony on March, 19 and our solemnization and wedding reception on October, 9. Since we have only 8 month (to be exact - 246 days from today), a lot of things must be carefully & efficiently be prepared. This 8 month period also will be a very stressful yet joyful moment for both of us. Thus, this blog is a medium for both of us to share our stories & unforgettable moments. So, stay with us and don't forget to became loyal follower of this blog. 

Since our Engagement Day is just more or less 40 days away, our concern is to concentrate with it first but in the same time prepare for our Big Event on Oct! So, stay with us folks!
